BMF HQ Surface Drug Testing Services
Properties - Be sure a property is safe to buy or lease
Surface Drug Testing Services are for people looking to buy, rent or invest in a property. We also conduct testing on behalf of property managers and landlords.
Once a surface area has been exposed to Methamphetamine, the highly dangerous chemicals stick to surfaces such as, walls, floors, cabinets, doors, carpets, curtains, soft furnishings, lounges etc
Methamphetamine residue can stick around on surfaces for lengthy periods of time, even years! Being exposed to these chemicals is highly dangerous, especially for young children and the elderly.
When buying a property, it is important to know whether the previous owners or tenants smoked methamphetamine. If the previous owners smoked methamphetamine, you are at the risk of exposing yourself to these toxic substances.
Stolen vehicles: If your vehicle has been recovered you should conduct surface testing on the vehicle. Fumes or substances in the interior of the car may have contaminated interior surfaces. Being in the enclosed environment can cause serious harm.
Side effects of being in a contaminated vehicle may include nose and throat irritation, difficulty breathing or potentially unexplained rashes or aggravation of the eyes.
Workplaces & Workplace Property
Where there is suspicion of drug use in the workplace, surface testing of company property or vehicles can provide the required supporting evidence to pursue further investigations or testing of employees.
Preliminary on-site screening of workplace areas under suspicion can be conducted followed by laboratory analysis for confirmatory testing where appropriate.
Ensuring your organisation has an appropriate workplace drug and alcohol policy in place will ensure you can manage any drug issues in the workplace in a fair, consistent and legal manner.
What we do
A BMF testing technician will assess the area and conduct preliminary testing to ascertain which areas to concentrate on.
We swab the selected areas thoroughly following our standard protocols and conduct preliminary testing on-site to begin the process of testing to uncover any drug residues. If necessary further laboratory analysis may be recommended.
All findings will be documented and a detailed report presented.
